Last weekend’s scuffle between the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New Orleans Saints was in part provoked by Tom Brady. The 45-year-old quarterback tends to get a little frustrated when he plays against New Orleans, this is historically accurate.

During that moment in which Mike Evans got handed a one-game suspension for pushing Marshon Lattimore to the ground during a brawl. Brady hadn’t spoken about this moment but he finally addressed it during his weekly podcast, ‘Let’s Go!’. Tom didn’t address his personal issues but he did accept the blame over Evans’ suspension.

This is what Tom said on Monday evening during his podcast: “Obviously if I didn’t run down there to argue with the call … if things weren’t said back and forth between both teams, it could’ve been avoided. There’s a lot of things that go into it and there’s a lot of things at fault, so I don’t think Mike should be the one to be blamed and singled out.

“Unfortunately he has been, and that’s just the reality of life in the NFL. I think just sometimes the emotions get the best of us, and I love Mike. And the fact that Mike would come out there to defend me means everything in the world to me as a teammate and a friend.”

Are Tom Brady’s marital issues the real problem?

About the suspension itself, Brady added: “Mike knows how I feel about him. So in the end, emotions are a part of sports. Sometimes they boil over, and they obviously did (Sunday), and it’s an unfortunate circumstance. I don’t think it deserved any type of suspension; I think that’s ridiculous.

“Hopefully we can move past it and get to a better place.” But we are all thinking the same thing right? Tom Brady is visibly getting affected by his marital issues and they got the better of him last Sunday. Meanwhile, Evans took one for the team and won’t play Green Bay next Sunday.
