LeBron James showed his support for Liverpool once again as he celebrated their victory over Villarreal to reach the Champions League final.
The LA Lakers star reacted on Twitter at full time to express his excitement as the Reds booked their place at the Paris showpiece on May 28.
“Paris here we come!” he tweeted.

Jamie Carragher responded to this tweet, as he addressed him directly from the CBS Sports studio after the game.
“LeBron, if you want to come to Paris, you can join us and the CBS team and you can be my guest,” said Carragher.
“I’m pitchside, and I want you next to us in Paris.
“Give us the support that we need to win that seventh European Cup. Come and join us big man.”
Why does LeBron James support Liverpool?
LeBron is a big Liverpool fan, and he is a partial owner of the club after buying two percent of its shares in 2011.
He is also a partner to Fenway Sports Group, while he is regularly seen wearing a Liverpool shirt or the club tracksuit.
Whilst he is not regularly seen at Anfield, he has been to see Liverpool play. He made his first visit to Anfield in October 2011, where he watched the Reds take on Manchester United.
After that match, he explained to his Twitter followers how visiting Anfield cemented his love for the club.
“Liverpool have won 18 league championships and it meant a lot to read about King Kenny and Steven Gerrard – a hometown kid who now captains the team,” he said.
“And then to be at Anfield and see 40,000 fans screaming at the top of their lungs the whole game was an unbelievable experience for me.”
LeBron is yet to respond to Carragher‘s request, but he could very well join him pitchside for the Champions League final later this month.
