Fans of ITV’s The Masked Singer believe they have ‘worked out’ the identity of Maypole on the show.
The show returned tonight and fans once again tuned in to see if they could work out who each masked singer was. Davina McCall, Jonathan Ross and Mo Gilligan were back in the judges chairs and were joined by former Busted star Charlie Simpson.
Maypole took to the stage with a performance of Never Gonna Not Dance Again by P!nk. Afterwards, Mo Gilligan guessed it was former Masked Singer panellist Rita Ora, and many fans agree. Suspicions were only heightened when Maypole was put into the bottom three after losing a vote to Cricket. Some viewers believed she would be knocked out so she could return to the show.

@stanheightism wrote: “Or just watch maypole be eliminated because it is Rita lmao”. Then, @ChimobiEziefula added: “It would be funny if it was actually Rita Ora as maypole!!”
Afterwards, @ameliajordan_ said: “Maypole is Rita Ora, and she will be eliminated first as she’s back as a judge next week”. @ShinnyShinyKey added: “Getting rid of Maypole? Yeah, it’s totally Rita Ora”.
@Bez__24 said: “Joel said Rita was in America… maybe that was a clue for Maypole’s accent?? Fully sounds like her Would be a brilliant twist if it was”.
@Robertoconnor theorised: “Maypole sounds just like Rita Ora to me, but there are quite a few singers with the same tone and vocal inflections right now – so it’s difficult”.
