As the old saying goes, “the show must go on.”

Following country singer Naomi Judd’s tragic and untimely death, Wynonna Judd resolved to make good on all of the tour dates she and her late mother had scheduled.  “After a lot of thought, I’m going to have to honor her and do this tour. I’m just going to have to,” Wynonna revealed during a CMT televised memorial service for Naomi, per the New York Post. “Tonight, as we close, the show must go on, as hard as it may be. And we will show up together, and you will carry me,” she continued. “It’s so weird, yet so natural, to be in front of [the fans], our chosen family for 38 years. This little light of mine, I’m gonna let it shine,” she declared. Per CMT News, “The Judds: The Final Tour” is set to kick off on September 30 in Grand Rapids, Michigan, and come to a close on October 28 in Nashville, Tennessee.

RIP Naomi Judd.
