Saul Canelo Alvarez and Gennady Golovkin met the scale requirement and are ready for their fight this September 7 at the T-Mobile in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Round zero was already fought, Canelo and Golovkin knocked out the scales and had no problem making super middleweight.

Alvarez weighed 167.4 pounds, while the Kazakh weighed 167.8, the division limit is 168, it is expected that with the rehydration both fighters will gain 10 pounds at the time of the fight.

What are the championships at risk?

In this fight, the World Boxing Council (WBC), World Boxing Association (WBA), World Boxing Organization (WBO) and International Boxing Federation (IBF) super middleweight (168 lbs.) titles, all held by Canelo, will be up for grabs.

It is the first time in his career that Golovkin fights in the super middleweight division, while the Mexican already dominates this weight and even fought at 175, a fight he lost against Dmitry Bivol.

When and where to watch the fight

The five fight main card for this promotion is scheduled to start at 8 p.m. EST.

The main event ringwalks for GGG and Canelo will start at aproximately 11 p.m EST, but it will all depend on the duration of the fights in the undercard.

This fight is a DAZN exclusive and will be available in the United States through DAZN PPV for its suscribers that wish to see it on TV.

DAZN also allows their suscribers to live stream the boxing card through their website DAZN.com or the DAZN mobile app.
