Ousmane Dembele‘s future at Barcelona remains up in the air. Everyone who gets close tot he Frenchman asks him about his next move, and where he’ll be playing his football in 2022/23.
That was the case this weekend when the winger was asked what he was going to do while driving a car. Stopped at a traffic light, a fan happened to pull up beside him.
The fan asked Dembele if he would stay at Barcelona and if the reports of Chelsea‘s interest in him were true true, as was seen in a video posted on Twitter by @Actualite-Barca.
The player immediately realised that he was being filmed and didn’t want to give anything away.
Dembele‘s response was simple, and probably the safest option, saying that he felt good in Barcelona, and that he would stay.
Regarding the interest of the English club he said “they are only rumours”. Dembele was surely aware that the video would end up on social media and, as a result, chose his words carefully.
Barcelona have not improved their offer since Mateu Alemany met with Moussa Sissoko, the player’s agent, and the player is still waiting for a better proposal.
The current position and lack of movement, though, suggests that Dembele is more than likely going to leave Barcelona this summer.
