Los Angeles Galaxy striker Javier “Chicharito” Hernandez cried on his live Twitch stream Friday after Spanish streamer Ibai invited him to join King League — a new soccer tournament for streamers that already includes Gerard Pique and Sergio Aguero.

Ibai, one of the 12 team presidents, was streaming live Friday and brainstorming who he could ask to join his squad.

One fan suggested Chicharito, and Ibai loved the idea, saying it would be a cheat code to have the Mexican forward on his side.

When Ibai started questioning if he would do it despite not being retired, Chicharito commented on the stream to say he might be able to join.

Chicharito joined Ibai’s stream and the two agreed on making it work via the LA Galaxy, which won’t have its next game until late February, well into the season of Kings League.

What is Kings League?

After leaving Ibai’s stream, Chicharito went live on his Twitch account and couldn’t hold back his tears for speaking to the “GOAT” of streaming.

The mutual admiration between Chicharito and Ibai is exactly what Kings League is all about.

Twelve team leaders will put together their respective squads made up of streamers.

Pique is the tournament’s president, while two big names for team presidents include Aguero and Iker Casillas.

Ibai, president of Porcinos FC, has seemingly already recruited one of the greatest Mexican streamers of all time, who also happens to score a lot of goals.

Chicharito emotional over recent headlines?

Kings League will have six games each week and they will stream on each player’s Twitch platform.

With the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar just days away, Chicharito might be emotional over recent headlines explaining the alleged reason why he’s not going.

Chicharito, Mexico’s all-time leading goalscorer, is reportedly not going to Qatar because he allegedly introduced two prostitutes into his hotel room while traveling with the national team.

Those actions led to a member of the Mexican Football Federation to lose his job and Chicharito was allegedly unapologetic over his actions.

The stream with Ibai occurred one day after a Mexican reporter made the shocking allegations of Chicharito, who may be feeling happy to start putting that behind him by joining Kings League.
